Dr. Sam Soda
Dr. Sam Soda is a dedicated optometrist passionate about providing comprehensive eye care. His expertise includes the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, contact lens fittings, and routine eye health examinations. A native of Princeton, Wisconsin, Dr. Soda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in Human Biology and a focus on Health Science. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating in the top five percent of his class.
During his time in optometry school, Dr. Soda took on leadership roles as President of the American Optometric Student Association chapter and Vice President of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor fraternity. After completing his degree, he pursued advanced training with a residency in ocular disease at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Dr. Soda is an active member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and earned Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. He values staying current with the latest advancements in eye care to better serve his patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Soda enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with his dog, golfing, and hunting. A proud Wisconsin sports fan, he is happily trying to convert his wife—originally from Michigan—into cheering for his home teams. Dr. Soda and his wife celebrated their marriage in December 2024 and are excited to begin this new chapter of their lives together.
